We must become the change we want to see in the world

    I am a 31 year old man who four years ago found my true self when I awoke from my sleep walking. For four years now I have been learning, discovering, “remembering” who is am and what I came here for.     In our past, which is not really our past, because there is no past or future, there is only the present “NOW” moment, we as a society have been a Matriarchal one (a society ruled by women where men were “used” (this is how man felt about the situation) primarily for hard labor and for fertilizing the egg, so that life could continue and evolve), to a Patriarchal one (a society where man sees themselves (in their own diluted minds) as superior to woman and believes they “own” women and have the “right” to “use” them in any way that they see fit). If we, as a society wish to evolve we must, as a collective, come together for the good of all mankind, and see everyone as equal. Until this happens we will be divided and, therefore, be conquered! In ONEness and equality we find peace, love and joy. In separation we find chaos, turmoil and hatred. Which experience would you like to have in your life?

My Awakening:
    Looking back on what I know now I must say, that, even though my experience of “waking up”, which seemed to happen in one beautiful and glorious moment, actually has been happening from the moment of my birth. I realize that, for the most part, I was seeking enlightenment, all my life. This is how I think it works for everyONE. Although I can't say for curtain, since I am only me, and therefore, I only see things from my one set of eyes and experiences. My moment, of awakening, came after a long intense conversation with an enlightened man whom I had barely met to months prior. When I say that it was an intense conversation I mean that the conversation caused me to do some intensely deep thinking of things that I thought I had already understood about myself and life in general. Towards the end of our conversation, which took place as I was driving this man to his home, I became completely transfixed on the thoughts that we going through my mind, so much so that I didn't even notice that I was pulling off of the freeway until the man brought this to my attention. He then proceeded to ask me why I was getting off of the freeway, and I replied that I didn't know. He then replied that I did know. And I responded by saying, “I do?” He then said “yes, you do, you have always known!” Mind you, I had never been to this man's house before, and he did not tell me which exit was his. So to say the least I was confused by this statement. The moment those words left his mouth a beautiful knowingness swept over me. I don't know how else to explain it, other than to say that, in that moment, I understood who I truly was - God/Love. Looking back on that moment, I did not know what that meant at first, but since then, I have learned (remembered) that I already know everything that there is to know ever. And we all have this same knowingness within each and everyONE of us; Since we are all a part of everything that is - Love/God - we all have the same truth contained within us. And all that we need to do to remember this truth is to still the mind and look within and we will once again re-member who we really are, and always have been - God/Love.

 When we quiet the mind and just be; enjoying in (in-joy-in) the silence that comes when we quiet the mind we find God/Love/Peace. Since this ONEderFULL rememberance I been so filled with joy, peace and joy. Life for me now has so much more meaning and joy in it; while, before, events in my life seemed to happen to me and I never quite understood why they happen the way that they did (events and situations just always seemed to be a bit out of place and out of my control). Now Iunderstand that I created them the way that aI did because I was unclear as to who I was, and so I was trying to become aware of what I was creating by creating it over and over again, until I finally noticed that I was not creating what I truly wanted to create. This is the beauty of life. We are always given the gift of awareness in every choice that we make, which comes to use through the effects of what we cause. This is the Law of Cause and Effect. Now that I realize that there is always an effect of every choice I make, I now choose to effect the world in only a positive and loving way. This is the one true Law of the Universe - you get back what you put into it.
    Even though my awakening didn't happen as intensely as some people's experiences that I have heard of - near death experiences and great family tragedies for example - my experience still had the same affect. “I WOKE UP.” Sometime between the beautiful moment of awakening and the next morning, I am not sure at which time exactly; I had been to the mountain top (if you will). I had seen it ALL - Love is all there is. Some would say that I saw the light, which I certainly did, but I would say that I saw that I was the light and had always been the light, and everyONE else was and always has been the light too. Since the beautiful moment I have been seeking to understand exactly what that meant for me and how to help other become aware of this ONEderFULL truth. In my newly found journey I have been raising the vibration of my soul and my surroundings by releasing who I thought I was - unlucky, undesirable and unlovable - and replacing them with the truth - I AM LOVE. I now understand that I have always been seeking out the truth of who I am, so that I might, once again, become whole; to get back to ONEness. The beauty of this seeking, is that we need seek no further than our own hearts; for we are all of the same substance, and we all come from the same source - some call this source God, some call it ONEness, some call it pure Love and some call it energy. In truth, this source is all of these and so much more that no words can truly describe it, or even help another understand it. It can only be felt within and then translate in your own experiences. Even if I could describe it, which is impossible, you, nor I, would understand this “substance,” or “state of being”. Since words are finite, how can you describe the infinite with something that is finite?
    To try and help me in this process of raising my awareness, which is all that life is - a process of re-membering. I have studied arts such as Tai Chi, Yoga, Astrology, Numerology, Taoism and Buddhism and many more.  I have also learned about things such as Chakras, Auras, Meditation and being fully present in the moment. All of these have helped me to understand myself and this world so much better. With my newly re-discovered remembrance of my soul, I have learned what life is all about, BE-ing fully aware in every NOW moment, and loving each and every NOW moment as if it were my last is what it means to be grateful. This is the secret to life. Love and Gratitude prevades everything in life, and with this awareness I now find life to be beautiful, and no longer evil. Life, for me is now about sharing and caring, not taking and hating. Life is about love and compassion, not fear and selfishness. Life is about ONEness, NOW and Love; I am you and you are me, there is no place where ONE BE-ing begins and another ends. With these simple truths I now seek to, once again, merge my mind, body and soul back together as ONE. I also seek to share all of this beauty and awareness, that I have “re-membered,” with each and every person that I come into contact each and every day. This is my purpose, this is my desire and this is me. Welcome to my world!
